We partnered with Marro, a spin-off brand from Butternut Box, Europe's largest fresh dog food brand, designed specifically for cats, to create a funny, whimsical, fully AI generated commercial. The ad aired on ITV, the UK’s largest commercial broadcaster, reaching more than one million viewers.

Unlike a typical AI commercial, this production was built on a foundation of real craftsmanship. It began with Alfred, a real cat, who served as the physical reference for our lead character, giving the AI a living, breathing anchor to work from. From there, a purpose-built set was created specifically for the spot, complete with real props used as visual references throughout the production. The voice performances were professionally cast and directed, with actors receiving notes and guidance just as they would on any traditional production. For the script, we collaborated with a professional writer to ensure the story remained grounded in genuine character and emotion. Across every stage, from the initial concept to the final edit, a focused team of four brought the entire project together.



Marro exists within a whimsical, carefully crafted world inspired by the distinctive tone, symmetry, and storytelling of Wes Anderson films, infused with a gentle sense of English culture. This universe is playful yet considered, balancing charm with refinement through thoughtful details, dry humour, and a curated aesthetic. Marro’s world feels familiar but slightly eccentric, creating a warm, characterful environment that invites curiosity, delight, and a sense of quiet joy.
