A project focused on preserving the heart of the original story while delivering a powerful emotional arc through believable performances, grounded filmmaking techniques, and a strong visual identity, all while pushing the boundaries of what the medium can currently achieve.

Loosely based on the chilling 1902 tale The Monkey’s Paw, our interpretation takes place in the fictional town of Brightburn, Massachusetts, where, among a collection of rare and mysterious artefacts, lies a mummified monkey’s paw that, according to the curator’s notes, grants three wishes, each carrying a terrifying price in return.
